Karen Ruybal, 70, of Great Falls and Helena passed peacefully on February 7, 2015 at a local care facility of natural causes. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at Croxford Funeral Home in The Rose Room Chapel at 2:00pm.

She was born on March 19, 1944 to Chet & Evelyn Axthelm in Lincoln, NE. Together Karen and her previous husband, Robert McGlynn started North West Battery Distributing in Helena, Montana. After moving to Cascade, Montana she also worked at Cascade Courier, Lucini’s Print Shop, Ag Almanac and Experience Works Commodity Foods until her retirement.

While living in Cascade, Montana Karen enjoyed participating in her children’s school and extracurricular activities.

Karen is survived by her children, Steve (Tamara) McGlynn of Helena, MT, Becky (TJ) McGlynn-Watson of Phoenix, AZ, Connie (Chris) Ford of Columbus, OH; stepchildren Dereck (Kim) Ruybal of Great Falls, MT, Angelina Ruybal, Desarea (Jessie) Valentine of Great Falls, MT, and Jessica Ruybal of Great Falls, MT; along with 20 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother, Larry (Dianne) Axthelm of Calif.
