Marlene Staigmiller, our mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend left this world behind to be received in the arms of her Savior on November 24th, 2016 at 78 years of age.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Mission Church in Conrad, MT at 1 PM. Mom’s last wish was to have one last HUGE potluck feast together with family and friends. Please bring a potluck dish and be prepared to share fond memories. Mom wanted laughter, funny stories, and children running around.

Marlene, the third child of John and June Staigmiller was born on November 25th, 1937 in Anaconda, MT. She grew up in the Eden area, and has shared fond memories of the “ranch” with everyone she knew.

Marlene worked as a book keeper and grocery clerk until she retired. She loved to dance, go garage saling, bake, and cook. She also cherished her Bible studies, spending time with family, and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing pinochle with friends, and most importantly enjoying time with her dear friend Rick.

Marlene is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ken; and daughter, Teena Conmy.

She is survived in death by her son, Hal (Jan) Hollo; daughters, Bobbi (Jeff) Pruttes, Gail Shepard; brother, Bob (Nancy) Staigmiller; sister, Connie; late husband, Les Morrison. She is also survived by special friends, Rick Chesner, Jean Schoonover, as well as many other family members; the in-laws and out-laws.

Marlene wanted to thank all the medical personnel who have taken care of her in the past years as she struggled valiantly with multiple health issues.
