Dear Goldhahn Family, I did not know Lauryn but I have relatives and friends who did. I have quickly grown to realize you did not have to know Lauryn to love her. Through all I have read and the pictures I have seen, Lauryn was a very special daughter, sister, family member and friend to all. I have no doubt she is a shining angel in heaven who will always welcome others with open arms. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

My heart aches for all of you. Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss. Lauryn was a sweet, loving, caring young girl. She truly did light up the lives of everyone she met, no matter how briefly they knew her. I will always remember the few times I got to interact with her. Football games, school, or even when she would come into the little store with Kari when I worked. I will always remember that toothless smile she had when she was younger. Her smile could light up a room. Again, I am so sorry for your loss, and just know that you have all been in my thoughts and prayers every night.
